Coconut Oil.. Use it, Lots of it!

Coconut oil is a superfood that you should be using daily! Olive oil is still amazing but did you know that it turns rancid and causes inflammation and damage to the body once it's heated. So olive oil is great for putting on salads or whole grains for flavor but when sautéing or frying coconut oil is a must! This oil is not affected by heat and has many more health benefits.


  • Naturally fights off viruses, bacteria, and fungal overgrowth
  • Improved digestion and absorption of fat soluble vitamins and amino acids
  • Regulates blood sugar - relieves symptoms of hypoglycemia
  • It's a powerful antioxidant
  • Improves absorption of calcium and magnesium

USES:

  • Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to your smoothie for a boost of good fatty acids and to keep you feeling full longer. 
  • Replace vegetable oil or any other oil when baking 1 to 1 for a healthier option.
  • Use for sautéing vegetables, frying eggs or when roasting vegetables.
  • Apply to skin as you would body lotion. Rubs in quickly will rehydrate better than any lotion.
  • Use as shaving cream
  • Apply to brittle dry hair to replenish shine and body. Massage into your scalp, leave it in for 20 minutes and then shampoo.
  • Have an earache... Warm slightly and then pour oil into your ear. You can do this multiple times throughout the day until symptoms relieve.
SIDE NOTE:

When purchasing coconut oil you want to buy unrefined coconut oil. Most stores are selling refined coconut oil so read the label!
